2018 Tournament Scores - Scottsdale Open

Strong "Count 'Em All" Sunday Finish Wins the 7th Scottsdale Open
The field of avid players from 11 states that assembled for the 2018 Scottsdale Open stands as testament to the fact that the game appeals to the best among us and remains in good hands; its honor and integrity carefully nurtured, its noble customs and traditions intact.
This year, the Senior Net Division demonstrated the import of "Count 'em All" Sunday as esteemed members of the "Texas Gang", Messr's. Cooke and Wrabel, stormed to victory from their position 6 shots back at the beginning of the final round.
In the Net Division, the Scottsdale-Dallas paring of Messr's. Nordstrom and Michaelis moved out front on Sunday after maintaining a share of second, then first, for two days of play.
The Flora Denton Vessell 2018 Ironman Award was presented to Mr. Bill Pedersen this year, in recognition of his support of the game at large, this event and his tenacious dedication to caring for those close to him; all the simple lessons Flora taught us in 2012.
In the end, the elegant golf course conditions, stellar golf weather and warm camaraderie shared by the tournament players sent everyone home a winner. Well played, gentlemen.
2018 Scottsdale Open • January 11 - January 14, 2018
Troon North Monument • TPC Stadium • Grayhawk Raptor
The Scottsdale Open is pure golf and pure Scottsdale. Two-player amateur teams compete for three days on Scottsdales's finest championship golf courses in pro-style tournament conditions under January's sunny desert skies.
The Scottsdale Open will examine your competitive nerve and tournament golf skills on Scottsdale's finest championship courses manicured to peak season condition.

But then, as Bobby Jones so famously noted, "Competitive golf is played mainly on a five-and-one-half-inch course - the space between your ears."
We look forward to seeing you next January.
